About us...
Life can be hectic, and if you're like us, your dogs are part of your family. So when you can't be with them because of work, holidays or other obligations, you want them to have the same TLC that you give them. That's exactly what we offer at 4Paws Outdoors.
4Paws Outdoors was set up by Laura Markey who had herself struggled to find suitable care for her two toy dogs. If you have a smaller dog you already know that they require special care - but when you can't be at home who will provide that level of care? This lack of suitable care, combined with requests from fellow toy dog owners, led to the creation of 4Paws Outdoors.
At the heart of 4Paws is the idea that it should be a pleasure for both you and your dog to use our services. We aim to remove the stress of caring for your toy dog, of having to impose on friends and family, or of rushing home from work or evenings out. In short we want to remove your dog owning guilt!
Our ethos...
4Paws Outdoors offers a small and select service, much like our small and select clientele. We are the opposite of the high volume, large dog orientated kennels and daycare facilities that you will typically find.
When your pup comes to stay with us they becomes part of the 4Paws family. Your dog will spend his day gallivanting on Hampstead Heath and relaxing in a home with all that a home offers, comfy sofas, lots of toys and a garden to laze in.
Good things come in small packages…
At 4Paws Outdoors numbers are limited and the dogs we choose to admit are carefully selected. This helps to ensure a happy and harmonious environment for your pup.
A unique feature of 4Paws Outdoors is that we cater ONLY for toy and small breed dogs. This means you can rest assured that your little one will be surrounded by like sized dogs who can't 'accidentally' injure him.
Furthermore 4Paws Outdoors is run by people with extensive experience of caring for small dogs and catering to their special needs and requirements.

Important info...
We aim to offer our services 365 days a year and are happy to cover evenings, weekends and bank holidays. We understand that plans can change and we are often able to cater for last minute requests.
At 4Paws Outdoors we think it's important to get to know you and your dog. We will therefore arrange a free initial meeting in order to agree the most suitable type of service to meet your dog’s individual needs and personality.
For your peace of mind 4Paws Outdoors has full Third Party Liability and Care, Custody and Control Insurance so you can be sure your dog is in safe hands. In addition all dogs staying with 4Paws Outdoors wear one of our ID tags with our contact information.
